I first met Jessica and Tommy Wilke when I photographed their newborn Jack at the start of 2018. He was the cutest little baby boy born on Christmas Day, and had THE most adorable smiles during his newborn session! Later that year I had the pleasure of photographing their gorgeous wedding day at the Oakland House in Affton, Mo.

Tommy and Jessica are two of the kindest most genuine people I have met, and their love for each other and their family always shines brightly. So when Jessica reached out recently for some updated family photos including their latest family addition, a beautiful little girl, I was thrilled!

One thing I love about being a photographer is getting to watch people’s life adventures and love stories unfold. I get the honor of watching their families grow and documenting each important step along the way. There’s no greater feeling!

The Wilke Family and I met up on a Saturday evening at Queeny Park (me donned in my mask, gloves, and 70-200mm). I couldn’t believe how much their son Jack had grown since I last saw him! He has an adventurous spirit and the cutest curly hair now. And their latest addition, Harper, is so sweet with the thickest baby hair I have ever seen. We had fun with surprise tickles for Jack to get his adorable smile to come out, and during Jack’s explorations in the tall grasses he found a toad and caught it with help from his Dad! It was precious!
